4-H speech
I'm soo nervous for my 4-H speech it is on Sunday. this is what it is

Sierra’s Speech – 2011
Beagle? Too slow to housebreak. Dachshund? Nope, I was told they were too stubborn. Bulldog? EXTREAMLY stubborn, just like my brother Reese. Chihuahua? Too Yippy! German Shepherd? Hard tempered. Golden Retriever cute- but they shed a lot. Poodles don’t shed as much but aren’t quite as cute. Oh, Decisons. . . Decisions. . . Decisons. . . What kind of dog should I get? Good afternoon honourable judges, ladies, gentlemen, and fellow 4-H members my name is Sierra Sutherland. For those of you who have dogs know how difficult this decision can be, especially for a dog lover like me. I like all the breeds. I see the good in each one. Hmm, but which one is really right for me? After 2 years, yes 2 years and much research I finally found a dog that I felt would be a perfect fit for me. It was a breed that I had never heard of. It is a cross between the Golden Retriever and the Poodle commonly known as a Golden Doodle. They are very intelligent family dogs. Did you know that the retriever and the poodle are rated in the top 5 of smartest dogs in the world? Although there is no such thing as a non shedding dog, Doodles have been sold to many people who have allergies and have been very successful. Golden Doodles are also very social dogs who love to be around kids. And if you know my family we have lots of kids, 4 to be exact, so I knew that was a great quality since we all love dogs in my family. Also they are very loyal to their family and have a strong desire to learn. Intelligence, non shedding, social able, loyal, and a dog who wants to learn all make great qualities for a dog suitable for me. I think I have just found my dog. Now to talk Grandma into buying one for me! Believe it or not, we found one in Saskatoon and better yet Grandma bought it for me. Now, I am a proud owner of a girl Golden Doodle named Leslie. We love going to Canine 4-H and we are both learning lots! She is quite the bundle of fun and I am so glad that I have chosen a Golden Doodle as my dog. The best there is. To me of course. J
